FAQs

  • What services does SoleCare provide?
SoleCare provides specialized foot care services to the elderly, particularly those living in assisted living facilities or at home. These services include specialized foot care such as callus or corn removal, shaving of thick or fungal toenails, and toenail restoration. The service includes a medical evaluation of the feet providing treatment recommendation for issues and education on foot, wound, and circulatory issues.
  • How is SoleCare different from a Podiatrist or a Nail Salon?
SoleCare uniquely bridges the gap between medical podiatry and aesthetic foot care offered at nail salons. Unlike podiatrists, we are not bound by insurance constraints, which allows us to provide a more flexible, personalized approach to foot care. Our services are delivered directly to your home, particularly benefiting seniors in assisted living facilities, and blend clinical expertise with the convenience and personal comfort of home service. In contrast to nail salons, SoleCare places a strong emphasis on medical-grade hygiene and safety. Our nurse-led team is trained in sterilization and infection control practices, significantly reducing the risk of infection for our clients. This is especially crucial for seniors or individuals with conditions like diabetes, where foot care must be meticulously managed to prevent complications. Lastly, Beyond the cosmetic services provided by a typical nail salon, SoleCare offers comprehensive health assessments, treating medical foot health needs alongside aesthetic care. As a nurse and veteran-owned business, we are dedicated to the highest standards of care, service, and excellence, ensuring a holistic, safe, and comprehensive approach to foot health and wellness.

  • How often should foot care services be provided?
The frequency of foot care services depends on the individual’s needs. However, regular check-ups every 4-8 weeks are recommended to prevent potential foot problems.
